This is an information session for BoardLead – a guided process to apply for a nonprofit board seat that’s a great match for you! Participants got exclusive access to trainings and support. Not only will Members learn about nonprofit board service from BoardLead, but it was also an opportunity to connect with other Disability Lead Members who have participated in previous years.

More than 1 in 10 Chicagoans have a disability. Yet, people with disabilities are often underrepresented on our nonprofit boards, public commissions, task forces, and corporate management teams. Only 1% of the region’s nonprofit board seats are filled by people with disabilities.
