Barbara has served as Director of Development at Access Living since 2019, where she leads all of the organization’s fundraising efforts and donor relations. She has deep experience in nonprofit development, with prior leadership roles at United Way of Metropolitan Chicago and Chicago Cares. Earlier in her career, she managed corporate sponsorships for national concert tours featuring artists like Celine Dion, Tina Turner and George Strait. Barbara is passionate about advancing inclusion and opportunity for people with disabilities, drawing on her own experience as a member of the disability community. She believes in the power of strong relationships to drive meaningful change. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a certificate in fundraising management from DePaul University.
