Christina Armstrong (she/her) is a leader, coach, trainer, facilitator, advocate, and artist. For over twenty years, she has created transformative community-based programming and content. She is currently the Program Officer of Women's Leadership Initiatives at the Chicago Foundation for Women and coordinates Willie’s Warriors, a leadership development program for Black women and gender-expansive people.
Since becoming a Circle Keeper/Restorative Justice Practitioner and Coach, community building, conflict transformation, and communal healing have been interwoven in her work. Alongside her mother, Christina is also helping to develop innovative, differentiated storybooks and curricula for elementary students.
Christina has a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.Ed. in Educational Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She was raised and lives on the Southside of Chicago. She enjoys composing music, songwriting, singing, and playing piano. She is working on her debut album.
