Elizabeth is an impassioned disabled and queer person who joined Start Early in 2023 after 10 years as a public services librarian, where she advocated for support and services for teens who are marginalized. Always advocating for systematic change, educating, and sharing disabled perspectives in public service and non-profit spaces, Elizabeth recovers her spoons by cuddling with her cat. Currently, they co-lead Start Early’s Disability and Chronic Illness Employee Resource Group, fostering an environment of community and safety for colleagues with disabilities.
