Esther is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD), where she leads the Disability Resource Unit, Finance Team, and key policy initiatives advancing disability access and equity across Chicago. Born and raised in Chicago, Esther’s passion for community development began while studying political science at UIC. She launched her career at Neighborhood Housing Services as a Housing Counselor and later as a QA and Reporting Analyst, helping prevent foreclosures and strengthen compliance systems. Before joining MOPD, she served at the Department of Housing as Project Coordinator and Program Director of the Delegate Agency portfolio.
