Jeff Lukacsena

Jeff Lukacsena is a planned giving and major gifts fundraiser based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He holds a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. He earned the Certificate in Planned Giving Management and the Certificate in Fund Raising Management from The Fund Raising School.

He serves as Sponsorship Chair for the Pittsburgh chapter of Foundation Fighting Blindness, responsible for $25,000 of the chapter's 2026 VisionWalk goal, and he has raised more than $41,000 for the Pittsburgh and Indianapolis VisionWalks since 2016. Foundation-funded genetic testing gave Jeff his own diagnosis, which is why he raises money for retinal disease research.

Previously he worked in planned giving marketing at the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, where he increased planned giving inquiries by 25 percent and secured more than 20 trustee bequests, and as a fundraising consultant for 501(c)(3) Squared, where he secured a $200,000 grant and supported a $1.5 million capital campaign.

Jeff chaired the diversity, equity and inclusion committee for AFP Western Pennsylvania, where he established the Diversity Fellows program. He chaired the DEI committee at the Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council. He chaired Accessibility, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity for Foundation Fighting Blindness Indianapolis from 2022 to 2024. He is a member of Apra and the Pittsburgh Estate Planning Council, and he is a five-time graduate of The Seeing Eye in Morristown, New Jersey. He currently works with Bella, a chocolate Labrador retriever.
