Josie is a communications strategist and disability advocate who has spent her career amplifying disabled voices and building community. As Community Engagement Manager for Disability Pride PA, she focuses on communications strategy and digital engagement. Previously, as Senior Director of Communications and Digital Experience at United Spinal Association, she drove transformative growth in membership, digital reach, and giving. She honed her storytelling skills during editorial leadership at New Mobility magazine. Beyond her professional work, Josie has served in elected office as School Board Director and coordinated grassroots organizing across Pennsylvania's disability community, securing legislation for rural transportation access and Medicaid waivers. She lives in Pittsburgh with her wife, Ginny Rogers.
