Stephanie Kanter

Stephanie Kanter is the Director of IL ABLE, a savings and investment program for people with disabilities, at the State of Illinois Treasurer’s Office. Stephanie served on the Board of Commissioners for the City of Chicago’s Commission on Human Relations. She has also served on the boards of directors for the Erie Neighborhood House, Girls Best Friend Foundation, Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health, and Women in Director’s Chair. Stephanie is an alum of the US State Department’s Professional Fellows Program and was a delegate on three international exchanges supporting sport diplomacy, disability empowerment and equity through adaptive sport, and economic inclusion of people with disabilities.
